Travel with Car Hire Vancouver 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I would like to tell you about some places in Vancouver, Canada, which impressed me much during my trip to this amazing city. Unfortunately, I had a little time to explore it, that is why I decided to use Car Hire Vancouver to see as much as possible. And it was a good choice!

First of all, about Vancouver. It is one of the largest metropolitan areas in Canada. And it seemed so big and wide for me. I am from Vilnius, Lithuania, and it rather small city, comparing with Vancouver.

So, my top places to visit inside and outside Vancouver:

1. Fraser Canyon. It is about a 3 hours drive from the downtown Vancouver area. A lot of people from around the world drive their way to scenic Fraser Canyon for its seven mountain tunnels that have played an important role in the history of British Columbia. The location is absolutely unique and spectacular because in earlier times people were not allowed to come up these mountain ranges.

2.Grouse Mountains, also known as the peak of Vancouver. It is my another mountain adventure place that I visited when I were in Vancouver. This place is an ultimate combination of wilderness and civilization and is just a 15 minutes drive from the city. I really enjoyed the view of the natural landscape.

3. Capilano Bridge. This is truly one of the best suspension bridges in the world. Capilano Bridge is suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River and crossing this bridge was a real excitement.

4. Vancouver Lookout. Of course, I visited this famous place. I enjoyed a bird's-eye view of Vancouver, North Shore Mountains and even Vancouver Islands. It was amazing! I recommend all people, who are going to visit Vancouver, to go there!

5. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown. I know that some people consider that the price of the ticket ($10) is too high for the garden. It is a rather small, but very beautiful. And it is worth to pay this money, if you are interested in history, feng shui, symbolism, etc. I enjoyed time spent there, because I am crazy about these things!
