We will be in New Orleans the last week in March; holy week between Palm Sunday & Easter. Is there anything special that we shouldn't miss?

We're foodies & would like local cajun food that's special & memorable; any suggestions?

Thanks we will take a taxi from the airport to the French Quarter. Should we rent a car for part of the time? Where do you recommend explore by car?

Any ideas would be very appreciated! Thanks!
