Customs at the airport
On the yellow and white Customs form, you are expected to declare:
• Cameras, camcorders, and other electronic equipment not for personal use.
• Gold, if over 300 grams, excepting jewelry for private use.
• Vietnam Dong, if over 15,000,000 dong. Other currency, if over 7000 USD.
• Video tapes (they may be kept for a few days and screened).
Baggage Claim sticker
Keep your baggage claim stickers (stuck to your tickets) in order to get your luggage out of the airport.
Business Class Lounge
Business class passengers and Golden Lotus Plus Gold members may use the Business Class lounge.
Airport tax
International flights: US$14 per passenger. Children under two years old are exempt.
Domestic flights: Airport tax is included in the ticket price.
Check-in times at the airport
Open time
International flights: counters are opened 2h30 before STD
Domestic flights: counters are opened 2h00 before STD
Close time
International flights: counters are closed 40 minutes before STD
Domestic flights: counters are closed 30 minutes before STD
Counters for C class are specially closed five minutes later just in case C/GLP/VIP passengers arrive late.
